型態特徵
Deciduous or evergreen trees, shrubs or scandent shrubs. Leaves alternate, simple, mostly entire, estipulate. Flowers bisexual, rarely unisexual, actinomorphic, brown to tawny-yellow; sepals usually 3, free or partly connate, valvate or often imbricate; petals usually 6, valvate, in 2 series; stamens num-erous, about 75-1,000, spirally arranged or rarely definite, filaments short, anthers extrorse or sublateral, connectives often enlarged; carpels 1-400, free or rarely united, styles 0 to short, stigmas distinct; ovules 1 to numerous. Fruit of 1 or more berries, capsules, or rarely an aggregate fleshy syncarp (in Annona), sessile to stalked; seeds large, 1-numerous; endosperm ruminate; embryo minute.

In the tropics of the Old and New World with extensions into temperate regions; 80 genera and over 750 species. Taiwan, three genera and four species.

型態特徵
Small trees or shrubs. Leaves alternate, simple, lustrous above, lateral veins sparse. Flowers solitary or clustered, axillary or extra-axillary; bracteoles at base of peduncule, in 2 series; sepals 3, valvate; petals 6, in 2 series, valvate, outer 3 flat, thicker, inner 3 smaller, short clawed, cohering in a calyptra covering the stamens; stamens numerous, linear-oblong, the anthers extrorse, connectives oblong or club-shaped, truncate or rounded at apex; ovaries numerous, free, styles elongate, stigmas simple or bifid; ovules 1-2 (rarely 4-10), superposed or basal, in 1 or 2 series. Fruit oblong or ovoid; seeds 1-10.
In Tropic S. and SE. Asia, such as S. and SW. China, about 50 species. Taiwan, only one species in Nanjenshan and Satau, Oluanpi, Hengchun, very rare, near coastal areas.
