Terrestrial herbs. Stems creeping below, ascending at top, to 20 cm tall.
Leaves many, 3-5 cm long, 1-1.5 cm wide, pale green or tinged with light brown, ovate-lanceolate, velvet.
Peduncle 10-15 cm long, covered with long, slender hairs, with 2-3 bract-like sheaths below, sheaths glabrous abaxially, ciliate at margins; rachis 5-8 cm long; floral bracts glabrous abaxially, ciliate at margins; ovary 6-8 mm long, hairy. Sepals not spreading, dark brownish green at base, whitish at apex, ovate, 4.5-5 mm long, 2.5-3 mm wide, hairy outside; petals white, 4.5-4.8 mm long; lip tripartite, white or tinged with green near base, T-shaped when flattened, 6-7 mm long, hypochile saccate, with pair of papillae inside, mesochile gradually turning thinner toward epichile, epichile dilated, bilobed, 5.5-6.2 mm across when flattened, lobules cuneate-orbicular, 2.7-3.1 mm long, 2.2-2.5 mm wide; column 2 mm tall; ventral appendages obscure or low; anther bending downward, red near midrib; pollinia clavat; stigma 2, on lateral sides of column; rostellum slender, slightly curved downward at apex, tegula oblong, ca. 1.2 mm long, widened at base and bearing viscidium.
