形態特徵

• Epiphytic or terrestrial herbs. Rhizomes distinct. Pseudobulbs at 4-5 cm intervals, ovoid, ca. 4 cm long, 2 cm wide, with 1 or 2 foliage leaves and few scale leaves.
• Leaves fleshy, spatulate, ca. 40 cm long, 5-6 cm wide, apex acute, base sheathing, jointed to pseudobulb.
• Inflorescence from middle of pseudobulb, erect, green, to 40 cm long, flowering throughout whole length; bracts ovate, 1.5 cm long, 8 mm wide, apex acute. Flowers fragrant, pale yellow, ca. 3.5 cm across; dorsal sepal narrowly linearlanceolate, 2.5 cm long, 4 mm wide, apex acuminate, with short dark brown hairs outside; lateral sepals similar to dorsal one, base oblique; petals similar to dorsal sepal but shorter; lip hinged to foot of column, 1.4 cm long, 3-lobed, lateral lobes erect, 6 mm long, acute, terminal lobe oblong, 8 mm long, disk with 3 longitudinal keels.

分布

• 台灣 : collected only once at Chushan, Nantou, forest at ca. 300 m.
• 世界 : China, Sikkim, India, Myanmar, Thailand and the Philippines, southward through Malaysia and Indonesia to Papua New Guinea.
