Annual herbs, stems erect or ascending, to 20 cm tall, branches hispid to glabrate.
Leaves petiolate to sessile, ovate to obovate, 12–35 mm long, 10–20 mm wide, pinnately nerved, apex obtuse, base attenuate, margins crenate-dentate and undulate, hispid to glabrate.
Flowers in terminal racemes; pedicel shorter than the subtending leaves, 4–8 mm long. Calyx cleft nearly to base, 2–3 mm long; lobes linear-lanceolate, sparsely hirsute. Corolla white or pink, 5–6 mm long. Stamens 4, all fertile; anterior filaments each with geniculum near the base.
Capsule globose, subequaling or shorter than the persistent calyx, 2–3 mm long.
