形態特徵

Twining vines, stems 2–4-angled, narrowly winged, glabrous or sparsely pilose.
Leaves ovate, usually entire, rarely coarsely dentate or slightly lobed, apex acuminate to obtuse and mucronulate, base cordate or hastate, glabrous or appressed-pilose adaxially, pubescent abaxially, 5.5–15 cm long, 3–14 cm wide; petiole 2.5–7.5 cm long, short-pilose.
Cymes few-flowered, axillary; peduncle 2–18 cm long; pedicel pubescent, 12–35 mm long, clavate and elongated in fruit; bracts large, oblong or elliptic-oblong, pubescent, 1.5–2 cm long, deciduous; sepals ovate or broadly ovate, acute or short-acuminate, mucronulate, pubescent, 1.5–2.5 cm long; corolla 3–4.5 cm long, glabrous, white or white with yellow base; ovary glabrous.
Capsules depressed-globose, 1.5 cm across; seeds dull black, smooth, 6 mm

分布

台灣 : at low elevations throughout the island.
世界 : Widespread in tropical Asia, East Africa, Australia and the Pacific islands; introduced in the Americas.
