形態特徵

• Perennial prostrate herbs to 60 cm long, branched; branches 4-angled, pilose on angles.
• Leaves elliptic-lanceolate to oblanceolate, 2–3.2 cm long, 4–8 mm wide, apex acute, base cuneate, oblique, margin serrulate, subglabrous except pilose along lower margin; petiole ca. 0.3 mm long; stipular sheath truncate, glabrous, denticulate, ciliate on upper margin.
• Flowers 1–3 in cluster, subsessile; calyx 5–7 mm long, pubescent, lobes 2, linear-lanceolate; corolla white, 1.8–2.1 cm long, with tube ca. 15 mm long; filaments ca. 2 mm long; style 1–1.3 cm long.
• Fruit ellipsoid, 6–9 mm long, pubescent, 4–6 mm across, prominently 8-ridged.

分布

• 台灣 : in grassland in the north.
• 世界 : Native to North America, naturalized in eastern Asia.
