形態特徵

Plants twining, brown pubescent, hairs deciduous with age. Stems terete.
Leaves opposite; blades ovate or oblong, 3-veined; dark green above, whitish beneath, 6–9 cm long, 2.5–5 cm broad, apex acuminate, base cuneate or rounded, with many glands at base; petioles 2–4 cm long.
Inflorescences, 5–15-flowered umbels; peduncles 0.5–1.5 cm long; pedicels 1.2–2 cm long in open flowers; calyx 5-lobed, lobes ovate, 1.5 mm long; corolla 5-lobed, lobes ovate-triangular, 3 mm long; gynostegium shorter than corona; corona 5-lobed, lobes acute at apex, with thick appendage at central part inside; pollinia oblong; stigma flat, conical at tip.
Follicles 2 per pedicel, cylindric, acuminate at both ends, slightly falcate, 9–10 cm long. Seeds flat, ovate and incurved, 15–18 mm long, 4 mm broad, comose.

台灣 : forest margins and river banks in the western part at low elevations.
