形態特徵

• A glabrous shrub.
• Leaves chataceous, oblong to ovate, 7–10 cm long, 3.5–5 cm wide, apex obtuse to obtusely acuminate, base obtuse, margins entire, nearly concolorous, costa slightly impressed above, raised below, lateral veins ca. 5 per side, slightly distinct on both surfaces, petiole 8–10 mm long.
• Inflorescences axillary cymes ca. 10 mm long, peduncle ca. 5 mm long, mostly 3-flowered, pedicel 3–5 mm long, bracts and bracteoles ovate, less than 1 mm long; calyx ca. 2 mm long, lobes 5, ovate, margins ciliate; corolla ca. 3.5 cm long, villose within, lobes 5, ca. 1.5 mm long and broad; anthers sessile; ovary ovoid.

分布

• 台灣 : in thickets only on Lanyu and Lutao Islands.
• 世界 : SE Asia, Australia and island in the western Pacific.
