形態特徵

• A densely prickly hirsute shrub to 3 m high, the prickles straight or recured.
• Leaves with a pair of leaflets at each division of the rachis, bipinnate or tripinnate; leaflets membranaceous, subsessile to short-petiolate, ovate-oblong to lanceolate, 6–10 cm long, 1.8–3.8 cm broad, acuminate, the base acute to obtuse, the margins serrulate, hirsute on both surfaces, the midrib sparsely prickled.
• Inflorescence a large panicle, 30–50 cm long, densely pricklly hirsute and pubescent, umbels 30–50 flowered, about 2.2 cm across, the peduncles 1.5–10 cm long, the pedicels 6–7 mm long; calyx about 1 mm long; petals triangular-ovate, about 2 mm long.
• Fruit globose, 4–5 mm across, 5-ribbed.

分布

• 台灣 : Mainly in secondary forests at low altitudes.
• 世界 : India, Sikkim, Burma, Malaysia and southern China.
