形態特徵

• A soft aquatic annual herb, 5–15 cm high.
• Leaves 3-verticillate, narrowly lanceolate to ovate, 3–8 mm long, 1–2 mm wide, obtuse at apex, narrowed at base. The morphology of leaves is very variable. The leaf is ovate and 3 cm long when the plant is on the wet soil, while the leaf shows linear-lanceolate, and up to 8 cm long when the plant grows in the water.
• . Flowers axillary sessile; bracteoles linear, shorter than the calyx tube; petals 4, elliptic; stamens 4, opposite the sepals.
• Capsules globose.
• This species is one of the rare plants which was collected by several botanists at the same area of Nanjenshan only.

分布

• 台灣 : Taiwan, growing on shallow water of paddy field, ponds or wet places in the lowlands of Nanjenshan.
• 世界 : Distributed in tropical and subtropical Asia.
