形態特徵

A scandent shrub, branchlets yellowish and turning to black when dried.
Leaves glabrous, terete, simple, papyriferous, ovate to oblong-ovate, 7.5–12.5 cm long, 4–7.5 cm wide, acuminate to acute at apex, obtuse at base, the margins entire, glabrous above, velutinous beneath; lateral veins 14–17 per side, parallel, midribs and veins impressed above, prominently raised beneath; petioles 1.5–2 cm long, glabrous; stipules subulate, 2–3 mm long.
Inflorescences terminal, paniculate, 30–40 cm long; flowers 3–10, fascicled, bisexual, campanulate; pedicels 2–3 mm long, glabrous; calyx 5, glabrous, triangular, acute, about 1.8 mm long, 1 mm broad; petals obovate, about 1 mm long, glabrous; stamens shorter than sepals, opposite to petals, enclosed filaments shorter than 0.5 mm long, anthers ovate, logtitudinally dehiscing; ovary sunk in the disc.
Fruit elliptic, 7 mm long, 5–6 mm in diameter.
