形態特徵

• A shrub, the branchlets erect, with distinct lenticels.
• Leaves 3-foliolate; leaflets subcoriaceous, the terminal largest, obovate-oblong, 8 cm long, 2.5 cm broad, obtuse at apex, retuse at summit, cuneate at base, the midrib impressed above, elevated beneath, the lateral veins about 5–7 on each side of the midrib, the margins crenate-serrate towards the apex; petioles about 0.5 cm long.
• Flowers small, in axillary or terminal panicles, up to 3 cm long; pedicels 2–3 mm long. Male flowers: sepals 5, oblong, 1.2 mm long, 0.3 mm broad, glabrous; petals wanting; stamens 5, exserted, opposite with the sepals; anthers broadly cordate; rudimentary ovary minute.
• Fruit ovoid, 6 mm long, acute at both ends; seed 1, black, shining.

• 台灣 : Known from Pingtung only.
