形態特徵

A shrub, 1–2 m high, with finely pubescent branches.
Leaves trifoliolate; terminal leaflets coriaceous, oblong or lanceolate, 6–10 cm long, 3 cm wide, obtuse or subacute at the apex; lateral ones much smaller, the upper surface glabrous, the lower surface softly pubescent, sometimes slightly undulate along the margins; petioles 1–1.5 cm long; stipules 3–5 mm long, ovate, acuminate.
Inflorescences of terminal and lateral pseudoracemes, 15–20 cm long, hairy; flowers small, 3–4 in loose clusters with short pedicels, wholly concealed in a pair or orbicular foliaceous bracts; calyx 2–3cm long, hairy, the teeth lanceolate; corolla 3 times longer than the calyx, yellow.
Pods 7 mm long, 3 mm wide, 1–2-jointed, constricted on both sutures.

台灣 : In the open wasteland, grassland and roadside, at elevation below 700 m high, in the central and southern parts.
