形態特徵

A shrub. Stems densely grayish appressed-tomentose, with few small prickles.
Leaves simple, ovate to broadly ovate, 3–5-lobed, 5–7 cm long, 4–6 cm wide, the apex obtuse, the base broadly cordate, the margin unevenly dentate, nerves slightly impressed above, prominent beneath; upper surface dark brownish and slightly hirsute along the nerves, lower surface grayish, densely appressed-tomentose; stipules 4–6 mm long, lacerate.
Inflorescence a large panicle up to 17 cm long; bracts similar to stipules; calyx cupular, 5–6 mm across, the lobes trianglar-ovate, 3–5 mm long, the apex acute, outside whitish appressed-pubescent, inside densely puberulous; petals white, obovate, about 4 mm long; both surfaces shortly hirsute.
