形態特徵

• A somewhat hardy perennial herb; stems creeping, branched in lower part, 15–30 cm long;
• Leaves somewhat carinose, simple, spatulate or oblong-lanceolate, 2.5–4 cm long, 3–4 mm wide; acute at apex, cuneate at base, entire or slightly dentate, lower leaves often serrate, dentate or pinnately divided.
• Racemes opposite leaves; flowers many, small; pedicels 1–2 mm long; sepals elliptic, glabrous, ca. 1 mm long; petals white, linear-spatulate, 1–1.5 mm long, 0.25 mm wide, obtuse at base; stamens 2; ovary reniform, glabrous.
• Silicles didymous, laterally compressed, slightly notched above, cordate at base, rugose-reticulate; seeds solitary or 2 in each cell.

分布

• 台灣 : known only from Lanyu and Lutao islands. This species of worldwide distribution is uncommon in Taiwan.
• 世界 : Madagascar, South Africa, western Australia and the Ryukyus?.
