Small deciduous glabrous Trees; branchlets with whitish lenticels.
Leaves alternate, 3-foliolate, clustered at tip of branchlets petioles, 7–17 cm long,; leaflets long obovate, entire, acute at apex, lateral leaflets rather asymmetric, 5–18 cm long, 3.5–5 cm wide, whitish beneath, lateral veins 4–7 pairs, veinlets obscure, petiolules short.
Flowers less than 20, in short terminal corymbs, 3.5 cm long, 3.5 cm wide, yellowish white, long pedicelled; sepals 4, oblong, 0.4 cm long; disc present, petals 4, long clawed, obovate, spatulate, ca. 2 cm long; stamens numerous, attached at base of gynophore, long exserted, filaments filiform, spreading; ovary ovoid, placentas 2.
Berries globose to ovoid, 6–7 cm long, pendulous; stipes slightly thickened, ca. 6 cm long; Seeds numerous, rounded-reniform, ca. 0.8 cm across.
