• Annual herbs to 50 cm tall; stems procumbent or ascending, much branched, farinose.
• Leaves with petiole 5-10 mm long, narrowly elliptic to lanceolate, 1-4 cm long, 5-20 mm wide, obtuse to acute at apex, cuneate at base, dentate, strongly farinose beneath.
• Inflorescence a terminal leafy panicle of spikes, 3-6 cm long; tepals 3-4, obovate-oblanceolate, ca. 0.8 mm long.
