形態特徵

• Annual or biennial herb; stems elongate, erect, 10-20 cm long, pilose.
• leaves opposite, ovate to elliptic, 2.5-3 cm long, 1-1.2 cm wide, acute or acuminate at apex, obtuse or attenuate at base, entire margins ciliate, pubescent on both surfaces, midrib impressed on both sides, short-petiolate; petioles 2-4 mm long, hairy.
• Flowers several in terminal loose cymes, white; pedicels slender, erect or ascending, 7-9 mm long, viscose-pilose; sepals 5, ovate-lanceolate, 3-3.5 mm long, 1-1. 2 mm wide, acuminate at apex, glandular hairy outside, glabrous inside; petals 5, ovate, shorter than the sepals, 2-2.5 mm long 1-1.5 mm wide, short bifid at apex, clawed at base; stamens 5, filaments slender, 1.5-2.5 mm long, glabrous; ovary globose, 1-1.2 mm long, glabrous; styles 3, hairy upward, 2-2.5 mm long.
• Capsules cylindric-globose, 2-2.5 mm long, 8-10-toothed at apex.

分布

• 台灣 : 1,000-1,500 m in southern part of the island; rather rare.
