形態特徵

• Annual herb, densely glandular pubescent all over; stems erect or nearly so, 25-35 cm long.
• Leaves opposite, sessile, obovate, obovate-lanceolate or obovate-spathulate, 1.3-5 cm long, 3-8 mm wide, acute and mucronate at apex, attenuate at base, semiamplexicaul, pale-green beneath, midrib impressed above, elevated beneath, lateral veins inconspicuous.
• Flowers small, many, white or pale yellow, in terminal cymes; pedicels 1.5-2.5 cm long, slender; bracts ovate-triangular, 6-15 mm long, acute at apex, margins ciliate; sepals ovate, 2-3 mm long, 1-1.5 mm wide, obtuse at apex, margins ciliate; petals spatulate, 4-6 mm long, 2 mm wide, rounded at apex, cuneate at base, glabrous; stamens 5-10, filaments free, 1.5-2 mm long; ovary ovoid, 1-1. 5 mm long, 1 mm across, glabrous; styles 5, filiform 1-1.5 mm long.
• Capsules cylindric-ovoid, 2.5-3 mm long, erect, 8-10-toothed at apex, teeth acute. Seeds reniform, tuberculate.
• The petals of this species, like those <i>A. subpilosa</i>, are entire. It is therefore transferred from <i>Cerastium</i> to <i>Arenaria</i>.

分布

• 台灣 : medium to high altitudes (2,500-3,400 m) in the central part of the island. On rocks, rather rare.
