形態特徵

• Puberulent to glandular-pubescent annual or biennial herbs; stems slender, 5-25 cm long, branched at base, ascending.
• Leaves sessile, the basal ones usually spathulate, withering before anthesis, the cauline ones ovate or broadly elliptic, 3-7 mm long. 1-5 mm wide, acute and mucronate at apex, rounded at base, 3-5-veined.
• Flowers solitary, axillary, often forming terminal leafy cymes; bracts foliaceous; pedicels slender, 5-15 mm long, ascending; sepals ovate-lanceolate to broadly lanceolate, 3-4 mm long, 1-1.5 mm wide, acute at apex. 3-nerved, rarely 5-nerved; petals ovate to obovate, 2-3 mm long. 1-1.5 mm wide, rounded at apex, attenuate at base, 3-nerved; perfect stamens 5, anthers yellow, minute, filaments slender, 1.5-2 mm long; styles 3.
• Capsules subglobose, abruptly narrowing towards apex, (flask-shaped) less than 2 times as long as broad, the walls rather hard and brittle, fracturing under pressure; seeds reniform, 0.5-0.7 mm long, 0.5-0.65 mm across, dark brown, tuberculate, the tubercles papilloses.

分布

• 台灣 : possibly a naturalized plant; known from coastal regions to medium altitudes in the northern and central parts of the island; often in dry, sandy and rocky places.
• 世界 : Temperate Eurasia, on mountains in N. W. Africa and Ethiopia.
