  • Acampe 脆蘭屬

    Large epiphytes or lithophytes. Stems long, often branched near base; nodes many. Leaves distichous, linear, fleshy, coriaceous, often unequally 2-lobed at apex, recurved. Flowers in lateral short racemes, fleshy, fragile, not resupinate, perianth not widely spreading; sepals and petals subequal, base more or less narrowed; lip adnate to base of column, not movable, with a shallow saccate base, unlobed or indistinctly 3-lobed, lateral lobes small, erect, midlobe large, fleshy, sac conic, without appendages inside, rather thick walled, often short hirsute inside or near mouth; column very short, nearly without foot; anther terminal, incumbent, opercular, with reduced partitions or nearly 1-celled; pollinia 4, unequal, in 2 bodies, waxy, with a slender stipe and furcate viscidium; stigma entire; rostellum short, bifid. Capsules cylindrical.

    About 5 species, mostly in southern China, India, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina and Malaysia. One in Taiwan.
